Currently, the Essex Arts Center is home to 19Ideas, a design, marketing, and communications firm, the Buffalo Institute for Contemporary Art (BICA), a cultural center that's been shaking up our contemporary art scene for three years and counting, as well as class space and studio spaces for local and nationally-based artists.
